Who is your mentor?
There are many, but I will stick close to home. My parents who have taught me resiliency. My adult son who inspires me daily not only with his brilliance but his efforts and energy to always make time to help others and to my colleagues and clients along the way who have supported and challenged me for my continued professional and personal growth.
What are some things that people don’t know about you?
That I’m writing a book. Stay tuned!
What are the biggest lessons that you have learned in the business?
That just when you believe you know it really well, there is so much more to learn, and to align yourself with really bright and collaborative people as I have with my colleagues at benefitsConnect
Do you have insights about the industry that you would like to share?
My personal goal and hope is that the industry always remembers that we are dealing with real people with difficult scenarios, and that the decision makers should always keep this in mind when policies are put into place, and that business is not just about numbers but lives.
