Making Your Life as an Advisor… Easier
What is a key takeaway you’re hoping the audience leaves with?
As the original HSA/WSA provider of the Benefits Alliance, NHC continues to excel in our advisor and end-user experience, creating the simplest claim submission technology in Canada and supporting advisors by stepping in and doing the heavy lifting. We do the work so you can focus on the next client. As amalgamation continues throughout our industry we remain fiercely independent and are the only alternative when considering other solutions in 2024.
Why should this topic be important to our conference attendees?
For more than half the crowd they likely are unaware of where we differentiate from our competitors and why it matters. HSA and WSA solutions are increasingly popular and independent advisors are looking for independent providers who make their life easier and not make them do all the work.

What is something people may not know about you?
I turned 40 a week before the conference.
If you could have dinner with anyone, who would it be and why? What question would you ask them?
My Opa who fought during WW2. I’d ask him to take me through what went on in his mind as the war began and share stories of hiding people from the Germans.
What is a book to recommend for people in the audience?
The Green Ember Series (with my kids) – It has an excellent message of hope in times where everything is hopeless.
How do you see the industry evolving over the next five years?
Our industry has changed so quickly it’s hard to predict what’s coming next. More amalgamation and at the same time, a need for independent advisors and solutions to maximize client service and experience.
