Where in Canada are you based?

Toronto, Ontario

Please introduce yourself.

With a particular focus on analytics and negotiation, I help organizations balance cost and value in the design and maintenance of their benefit programs. My goal is always to use data-driven insights and strong market relationships to deliver results that meet both financial and people objectives.

What do you enjoy most about working with Benefits Alliance advisors & members?

What I appreciate most about being a Benefits Alliance member is the ability to collaborate with other leading advisors across Canada. The shared insights and benchmarking data strengthen the way I approach analytics and negotiation on behalf of clients.

What is your favourite part of your role?

The best part of my role is seeing how the work we do, whether through analysis or negotiation, makes a real difference for clients and their employees. Helping organizations get more value from their programs is very fulfilling.

How do you define success?

Success, to me, is striking the right balance between numbers and people — delivering the analytics and negotiation outcomes clients need, while ensuring employees feel supported and valued through their plans. 

What are the biggest challenges you face in your role or in this industry?

Generating new business. Retention rates are very high and finding new clients to come over Is very challenging.

How do you manage work/life balance?

I keep the elements balanced by staying organized, setting boundaries, and making sure there’s always time for family and personal passions. It’s the key to staying energized while bringing my best to everything I do.

What advice would you give to people who want to join this industry?

Give it a chance, it’s more interesting and fulfilling than you would think.
