What excites you about being an advisor?
Helping employers find the best solutions for their employees, particularly those with ongoing health concerns and in need of a variety of supports.
How do you define success?
Success looks different in every situation, but for me, a general guideline is setting goals and meeting or surpassing them.
What are the biggest challenges to being an entrepreneur?
Staying on top of self-education to ensure I’m familiar with the most up to date information, innovative strategies, and what peers may be offering so I can ensure I’m bringing the best solutions to our clients.
How do you manage work/life balance?
Work/life balance is very important to me as a mom of 2-year-old twins. I utilize lists upon lists help keep me organized and on top of everything – both business and personal. Ensuring I take time to do personal activities and spend time with my family makes it more enjoyable to come back to a work space mind and allows more efficiency and productivity in the long run.
What books/resources do you recommend that every business person should check out?
Peers, coworkers and others in the industry are the best source of knowledge sharing, in my opinion.
If I could recommend one book to anyone, not specifically business related – The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch.
What advice would you give to people who want to become an advisor?
Go for it! Make sure to have a plan of action and “go to” resources beforehand.
If your friends/family/colleagues were to give you an award, what would it be for?
Either Over Organization or Queen of Multitasking.

Former hockey player turned working mom life & health advisor.
