Please introduce yourself.
I’m an Account Executive at Mosey & Mosey. Over the past 25 years I have held a number of different roles within the insurance industry, including some P&C exposure. For the past 10+ years, my main focus has been employee group benefits.
What do you enjoy most about working with Benefits Alliance advisors & members?
Excited to see what we can learn from Benefits Alliance to enhance our client relationships and assist them through challenges that they face.
What is your favourite part of your role?
Building trust through strong client relationships.
How do you define success?
A number of different ways but when you receive a positive referral from an existing client to a potential new client, that equals success!
What are the biggest challenges you face in your role or in this industry?
Ongoing competition due to pressure to provide the cheapest price.
How do you manage work/life balance?
It is definitely a challenge. I try to ensure that I do spend quality time with family and friends on the weekends and try not to sweat the small stuff.
What books/resources do you recommend that every business person should check out?
Always suggest to use your internal clients/fellow employees as a resource. Everyone has different experiences, and most are willing to lend a hand if asked.
What advice would you give to people who want to join this industry?
Every day is something new, no two days are alike!

Lol! That’s a tough one… hopefully it would be ‘The Best Listener’ award.
