What makes Allstate Benefits Canada unique?
Our policies are easy to understand and designed to pay more claims than any other CI product in the market. With no pre-existing condition clause, no survival period and fast claim payments (2-4 business days), we really standout as different. We’re proud of that!
How long have you been partnered with BA and/or working with BA member firms?
Personally, since I joined Allstate in 2020. But Allstate partnered with BA when we entered Canada in 2015
What advice would you give to a BA Member to get the best experience with Allstate Benefits Canada for their clients?
Get to know our team and our products! We love working closely with our advisor partners, through the entire sales process. We’re here to help in any way possible.
What is a memorable piece of advice you’ve learned in your career?
The extra mile is a lonely road, but it’s also the path to greatness!
Where do you see your industry going in the next 5 to 10 years?
Critical illness insurance is no longer a “nice to have” when it comes to group benefits. I anticipate a lot of growth in this sector, especially post-COVID. Voluntary benefits are gaining a lot of traction in Canada. A growing number of employers want the ability to offer their employees choice. So I believe the optional products will gain more popularity over the coming years.
