We are proud to have a network of Advisors across the country that contribute to the operations of Benefits Alliance. Our Events Committee is working hard behind the scenes to make sure our two conferences each year are highlights for our partners and members.
This year, we are pleased to announce that Jane Gasman will be the new Vice-Chair of the Events committee, working closely with the current Chair, Chantell Arsenault.
As a formal introduction, we thought that you might like to get to know her a bit more.
What piqued your interest to be on the Events Committee?
A great benefit to being part of any committee is the relationships you form. It’s an excellent way to work with like-minded individuals who share your passion and desire to improve personally and professionally.
Joining the Benefits Alliance Events Committee was something that interested me as I am passionate about meetings and conferences. I would like to share my experience from previous years of planning events by contributing my time, knowledge, and skills to help creative visions turn into a reality, so attendees have a great experience.
Can you share a few sentences about your related background?
I worked in Meeting and Event Management for Great-West Life, London Life and Canada Life where I was responsible to oversee programs across Canada and abroad. I believe “At the end of the day people won’t remember what you said or did, they will remember how you made them feel.”- Maya Angelou
Conferences are a great opportunity for Benefits Alliance to help like-minded individuals promote new relationships and solidify existing ones while sharing knowledge.
What do you do now at your firm?
As the Director of Client Experience at McFadden Benefits, Pension & Wellness, I am responsible to oversee the development and implementation of company-wide initiatives that improve customer relations and brand loyalty.
