Why does your topic mean something to you?

Group Retirement is dynamic and exponentially scaleable. Indpendent advisors have a great resource in the BA to learn and excel in this space. It is exciting to be a part of that oppotunity.

What is a key takeaway you’re hoping the audience leaves with?

Insurers, banks and new market entrants offer basic group retirement services and resources. If you differentiate yourself in this space, there is nothing but opportunity for all stakeholders.

What is something people should know about you?

I think of business like fishing. If you do not try new things (lures, techniques, bait, locations), you will never become a better angler.

Anything else you’d like to add for people attending the conference?

Stay indendent. If you have to sell, make sure the new owners are truly Canadian and not an American private equity group!
