Common Wealth Retirement - Benefits Alliance
Camden Underwriting is a full service, Canadian incorporated Managing General Underwriter. We work with advisors, together with our TPA and carrier partners to price and place pooled risk.

Our CEO, Paul Eeles is a highly experienced underwriter with a respected reputation here in Canada, as well as in International Markets, where he served in his career as an underwriter and reinsurance treaty writer. Paul lives in the UK.

Our Canadian Director and primary sales and marketing representative is Bob Carter, who lives ion Port Perry Ontario. Bob holds a current LLQP license and brings decades of experience in insurance and investments.

Camden pooled products include Life, STD, LTD (including standalone LTD), AD&D and CI. We work with several leading Canadian carriers, including Empire Life, Wawanesa, Lloyds, and Chubb and are actively pursuing MGU relationships with additional carriers. We look forward to sharing news of these partnerships in due course.

Our philosophy and unique marketing advantage is to provide speedy, knowledgeable and insightful service, with most RTQs being turned around within 24 hours, provided we receive a complete file with supporting materials and have no questions.

Our objective is to determine the right rate for the risks we evaluate and price. We operate in a completely transparent and collaborative environment that seeks to deliver industry-leading service at sustainable rates without the conventional deep discounting and extended rate guarantees that exist in the Canadian market today. We are highly adaptable and will always offer strategies and advice based on our teams’ decades of insightful knowledge and experience.
